Obituary: Gerald “Butch” N. Ptaschinski Jr., age 66

Gerald “ButchN. Ptaschinski Jr., age 66 of Beaver Dam, lost his battle with cancer, passing away at home on Sunday, April 14, 2019.

Butch was born May 2, 1952 in Madison to Gerald and Lillian (Bachofen) Ptaschinski Sr. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School and joined the family business, Ptaschinski Construction. He owned and operated Ptaschinski Construction along with his brother and sister. Butch enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. He was active in volunteering time to the Dodge County Fairgrounds, as well as supporting other charities like the Nation of Patriots ride.

Butch is survived by his wife, Nancy (Pattee) Ptaschinski of Beaver Dam; children, Liz (Kevin) Ponto of Madison, Maryn Ptaschinski of Cantril IA, Amanda (Josh) Kosloski of Beaver Dam and Jennifer (Wyatt) Hill of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Dominick, Bianca, Dytrik, and Max; parents Gerald and Lillian Ptaschinski of Beaver Dam; siblings Tom (Eva) Ptaschinski of Beaver Dam, Charlie (Terri) Ptaschinski of Shawno WI, Nan (Bill) Parkhurst of Beaver Dam, and Patricia (Mark) Ehlenfeldt of Beaver Dam; and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering to celebrate Butchs life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Old Hickory Golf Club, W7596 Hwy 33, Beaver Dam.
