Elizabeth Budde of Beaver Dam, died Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Hillside Manor.
Visitation for Betty will be at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 511 S. Spring Street in Beaver Dam, on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 11:20 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church on Monday beginning at 11:30 AM with Fr. Michael J. Erwin officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
Elizabeth Ann Budde was born on May 20, 1951 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Leo J. and Isabelle R. (Maier) Budde. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1969 and from Mount Mary College in 1973 with a degree in Home Economics. Betty received her Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1981. She worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin for eight years and at the Milwaukee Public Library for eighteen years. Betty was a loving sister, aunt and great aunt and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her siblings, Rose (John) Schweiger, Patricia (Chris) Pawl, Frederick (Joan) Budde, Loretta (Mark) Bronson, Jane (Russell) Lentz, Carol (John) Morris, Barbara (Joseph) Kachelski, and William (Elisa) Budde; eighteen nieces and nephews including her godson, James R. Budde; eight great nieces and nephews; and a foster son, Matthew Buth. Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
