Beaver Dam’s CATALYST Group Taking Part in YPWeek Wisconsin 2018

I’m Alison Wolf with the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce and the leader of the Chamber’s millennial age group – CATALYST.  The CATALYST group is the local host for YPWeek in Beaver Dam and Dodge County! Our mission is to engage all the members of our younger workforce in the region.  We’re starting with a number of events this week and will be hosting professional development and fun social events throughout the year.

YPWeek is a weeklong platform for discovery, adventure and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter among young professionals in Wisconsin. This year, with the support of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, YPWeek has expanded to 29 communities, over 60 different organizations, and more than 200 events statewide, all of which leverage the Think-Make-Happen organizing theme.  In our region we have local sponsors Inter-Quest, John Deere Horicon Works and Apache Stainless Equipment supporting our programming.

This week, all across the state of Wisconsin, employees and staff in their 20s and 30s in each of the participating communities will be gathering, learning, and growing together in an effort to make our home state a better place for all to enjoy.

We want to hear from you!  Visit www.ypweek.com/survey to share your thoughts on what makes Wisconsin a great place to live for young people and be sure to check out our full list of events happening throughout our area and across Wisconsin this week too!
