Obituary: Helen A. Wardlow, age 75

Helen A. Wardlow, 75, of Fall River passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 27, 2018.

A memorial gathering for Helen will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Savanna Oaks Community Center, 100 Savanna Road, Fall River.  Private family inurnment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Palmyra at a later date.

Helen Ann was born on December 20, 1942 the daughter of Clifford E. and Anna Mae (Zimmerman) Truman in Sullivan.  She was a 1960 graduate of Palmyra High School.  On May 18, 1963, she was married to Victor E. Wardlow in Whitewater.

Helen had been employed at the Fall River School District for many years.  She was a member of RECAT Team.  She enjoyed bowling, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She especially loved to bake cookies and brownies for her family.

She is survived by her children Vicie (Cliff) Berrong of Emporia, KS, Nancy Wardlow of Fall River, Steve (Kay) Wardlow of Beaver Dam; 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; her mother Anna Mae Jaquith of Helenville; her brother Charles (Diane) Jaquith, Jr. of Jefferson and Walter (Cindy) Jaquith of Helenvilleand her faithful companion Chico.  She was further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Clifford, her husband, Victor “Vic” in 2016 and her brother Raymond.
