Obituary: Irma E. Miller

Irma E. Miller, age 99, formerly of Horicon, went home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

Visitation for Irma will be at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 12:30 PM to 1:50 PM.  Funeral services will follow at church on Monday beginning at 2:00 PM.  Rev. Jonathan Szczesny will officiate.  Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Neosho at a later date.

Irma was born on July 11, 1915 in Colby, Wisconsin to the late Edward and Louise (Wiedenhoeft) Feind.  She graduated from Colby High School and was later married to Robert Porter and Carl Miller, both preceded her in death.   Irma liked gardening, flowers, watching the birds, and parades.  She also enjoyed watching the activities on the athletic field across from her apartment.  Irma was a long-time member of St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Ray (Janet) Margraf of Neosho; four grandchildren, Raymond (Sue) Margraf, Jr. of Hartford, Betty (David) Reals of Watertown, Steve Margraf of Lodi, and Jennifer (Elly) Rodriguez of Neosho; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Maxine Feind of Marshfield; her close friend, John Schmit of Horicon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Irma was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Dolores Margraf; grandson, Robert Margraf; great granddaughter, Sadi Margraf; her brother, Orland Feind; her sister, Virginia Theilig; and her brother-in-law, Walter Theilig.

Memorials may be made to the family.
