Austin Matthew Jeche was born on June 6, 1984 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Steven Jeche and Michelle Hammond. He grew up in Beaver Dam and was a 2001 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. As a teenager, Austin got his first job working as a server at Benvenuto’s. He developed a passion for cooking and that became his career of choice in the years that followed. Austin transferred to Madison where he was the kitchen manager for a number of years and most recently he was a chef at Oak Park Place in Madison. He loved cook outs with friends, golfing and bike rides. Austin loved and admired his dogs. He had a zest for life and although our hearts are heavy that he is gone, his organs were donated to give quality of life back to many others.
