Obituary: Warren R. Mildbrandt

Warren R. Mildbrandt, 98, of Beaver Dam and formerly of Mayville passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville with Rev. Joy Mortensen-Wiebe officiating.  A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the church.  Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.

Warren was born on May 6, 1918 in Mayville, WI.  He was a graduate of Mayville High School.  Warren was married to Gladys E. Puls on January 18, 1947 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville.  He was employed as a supervisor for various metal fabrication companies in Mayville, and later was employed with Sajac of Beaver Dam where he retired.  

Warren was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville.  His hobbies included golfing, bowling and fishing.  Warren enjoyed traveling especially with his wife, Gladys.

Warren is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gladys of Beaver Dam; his daughter, Diane (Yogin) Mehta of Oak Creek, WI; his daughter-in-law, Sue Mildbrandt of West Bend; his sister, Janice Holloway of Tomah; his grandchildren: Chad (Jennifer) Mildbrandt, Kevin (Martha) Mildbrandt, Kristi Mildbrandt, and Christopher Mehta; his great-grandchildren: Austin, Dylan, Lilly, Camden, Cassandra, Abigail, Mia, Kayli, and Bryson; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sons: Dale and Dennis; his sister, Elaine Hurlbert, and his brother, Bill.
