Obituary: James “Jim” E. Lentscher

James “Jim” E. Lentscher, age 60 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Jim was born on May 10, 1957 in Milwaukee, the son of Edward C. Lentscher and Imogene (Halbrooks) Lentscher. He graduated from Whitnall High School in 1975 and owned and operated a farrier company in Aurora, Colorado for many years before settling in Beaver Dam. He then worked as a fork lift operator at Kraft Foods in Beaver Dam from where he made many dear friends. The greatest joy in his life was his children.  

Jim is survived by his daughter, Allesandra Lentscher of Tennessee; son, Anthony Lentscher of Pennsylvania; siblings,Carol Murack of South Milwaukee, Charles (Lynn) Lentscher of Dallas, Texas, Joan Kunicki of Brookfield, Richard (Barbara) Lentscher of Hartland, Mary (Paul) Shrimplin of North Carolina, and William (Ruth) Lentscher of Fox Lake; 19 nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald and John Lentscher; sister, Judy Lentscher; nephew, Allen Lentscher; and other relatives.

Visitation for Jim will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral and Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Gary Zacharias officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Annunciation Catholic Cemetery, Town of Trenton.
