Judith Ann “Judy” Mullen, age 72 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at home surrounded by family.
Judy was born on August 1, 1954 in Jasper County, IL, the daughter of Dean and Christina Bromm. She attended Newton Community High School in Newton, IL and the School of Cosmetology in Olney, IL. Judy married Marcus Mullen on December 28, 1981 in Newton, IL. She was employed as a hairdresser for several years, as well as at The Senior Addition, LKQ Corporation (formerly Smart Parts) by Hustisford and in the accounting department at Monarch Range in Beaver Dam.
Judy was a member and secretary of the Rock River Radio Club. Her call sign, KB9MKK, is now considered a silent key. She volunteered at the polls for local and national elections. Judy enjoyed country living on Beaver Dam Lake, especially boating, fishing, gardening and tending to her beautiful flower gardens.
Judy will be sadly missed by the many people who loved her, including her husband, Marcus of Beaver Dam; daughter, Lisa Ann (Gary) Wunrow and grandchildren, Bailey and Benjamin Wunrow, all of Plover; three sisters, Carol (Jim) Weber, Sharon Goretzke and Beverly, all of Illinois; brother-in-law, Terry (Barbara) Mullen; step-children, Mark Patrick Mullen, Jeff (Pam) Mullen, Tammy (Ken) Herdman, Chris (Della) Mullen, Mike (Shelly) Mullen, Tim Mullen; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Adam Krueger; brothers, Frank Rogers, Jim Rogers, Bill Rogers, Max Rogers and Douglas Bromm.
A memorial gathering for Judy will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. A time of remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m.
