William S. Dahl, age 77, of Beaver Dam, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2016 at the Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg with his wife and children by his side.
William Smith Dahl was born on April 8, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Elsie (Schumacher) Dahl of Beaver Dam; three children, Randy (Kathy) Dahl of Carney, MI, Lonie Dahl of Fond du Lac, and Kelly (Duane) Rainey of Endeavor; grandfather of six, Christopher (Sam) Dahl, Jordan Berg, Ryan Berg, Alex (Pat) Dahl, Samantha (Justin) Dahl, and Nicolas Dahl; great grandfather of five; one brother, Charles Dahl; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ida Dahl; two brothers, Clyde Dahl and Robert Dahl; five sisters, Mary Grosse, Betty Noble, Doris Heaton, Charlotte Dahl, and Evelyn Allen.
Bill worked at National Rivet of Waupun for 37 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bill was always out looking to catch the big one. He loved spending time with family, working on puzzles, joking around, and camping with great friends. He was loved by everyone!
The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 p.m.
