Obituary: Cleve G. Brozek

Cleve G. Brozek age 71 of Cookson, OK and formerly of Beaver Dam, WI passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Eastar Hospital in Muskogee, OK.

Cleve was born on September 28, 1944 in Columbus, WI to Gary and Esther (Conant) Brozek. Cleve honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at John Deere for over 27 years. Affectionately known as “The Sheriff”, Cleve was an avid fisherman and enjoyed reading Westerns.

Cleve is survived by his children, Ann Brozek of Waunakee, Cynthia (James Raabe) Brozek of Burnett and Gary Brozek of Superior; his grandchildren, Madyson Frish and Crystal Brozek; his siblings, John Brozek of Beaver Dam, James (Phyllis) Brozek of Randolph, Sue (Owen) Poole of Shawano, Jeff Brozek of Beaver Dam and Kathleen (Charles) Castellano; his sister-in-law, Diane Brozek of Sun Prairie and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Robert in infancy and Mike; and other relatives.

Visitation for Cleve will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. A luncheon will be served immediately following the service at Cornerstone and burial with graveside military honors will take place at Fountain Prairie Cemetery, Columbia County.
