Obituary: Adeline F. Marquardt

Adeline F. Marquardt, 89, a resident of the Golden Living Center – Continental Manor in Randolph passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015.

Adeline was born the daughter of Alfred and Stephania “Betsy” (Kracowski) Novenski on August 23, 1925 in Beaver Dam.  She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School.  Adeline was married to Lawrence Klug.  Later, she was married to Les Lanson.  Afterwards, she was married to Fred Marquardt.  All of whom have preceded her in death.  Adeline was employed many years as a waitress for the Hotel Rogers in Beaver Dam.  She was also employed in the kitchen department for the Beaver Dam Community Hospital.  Adeline use to sell cosmetics for Vivian Woodward. She will be remembered as a dedicated homemaker.   She was a member of the former St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam where she was active with the Christian Women.  Adeline had a love for cooking and baking.

Adeline is survived by her children: Paul Klug of Beaver Dam, Lynn Klug of Fall River, and Becky (David) Holmes of Calumetville; her brother, Jerome (Maryann) Novenski of Watertown; seven grandchildren: Jason (Nicole) Dunning, Jessica Dunning, Nyre Klug, Quinn Klug, Katie (fiancé Josh Protraz) Holmes, Sara (fiancé Mike Prator) Holmes, and Cody Klug; six great grandchildren; her son-in-law, Ray Dunning of Fall River; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her three husbands, two daughters: Mary Klug and Kathy Dunning, and her brother, George Novenski.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam with the Rev. Michael L. Wild officiating.  A memorial gathering will also be held on Friday, June 26th from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam at a later date.
