Obituary: Marjorie E. Krakow

Marjorie E. Krakow, age 93, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at her home.

Marjorie was born on August 6, 1922 in Hustisford to John and Emma (Braun) Kennedy. On August 9, 1947, Marjorie was united in marriage to Arland Krakow at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Marjorie was a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church.  She loved to go shopping, play bingo, and socialize with the other residents of the Madison Place Apartments.

Marjorie is survived by her sisters; Shirley (Robert) Keel of Sun Prairie, and Donna (Lyle) McCredie of Madison. Marjorie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arland, her brother John Kennedy, her sisters; Norma Miller, Lucille Kennedy, Mary Jane Lyon, Virginia Klawitter, Ruth Kennedy, and Ruby Kennedy.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Philip Heyer officiating. A visitation will also take place at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.  to 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, Township of Trenton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marjorie’s name to St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Beaver Dam.
