Dolores V. Ebsen (nee Feit) was called to her heavenly home on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the age of 95. A positive attitude and resilient nature were qualities that defined her life. She had a one-of-a-kind personality and remained an inspiration to us to the end. Dolores was a woman who adored her family, cherished her friends, and possessed a deep faith in God. Her beloved daughter, Ann, her husband Leo, her parents, Matthew and Frances (Killian) Feit, and her five older siblings and their spouses preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Thomas (Mary Alice), Mesa, AZ, and Steve (Anne), Brookfield, WI. Her grandsons, Scott, Daniel, and Michael, had the good fortune of being the recipients of her unconditional love.
Dolores was born in Auburndale, WI on Feb. 6, 1922. She and Leo were married on May 10, 1943 and enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. She lived in Wisconsin Rapids and Green Bay, and latershe and Leo resided in Beaver Dam for over 50 years. Over the years she worked for Beaver Transport and the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce. She loved a good game of bridge with friends, a cup of coffee and conversation, and being with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Beaver Dam at 11:00 am. Visitation will precede the mass from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A luncheon will follow the mass in the parish hall. Private inurnment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.
