Obituary: Sheldon A. Kieliszewski

Sheldon A. Kieliszewski, age 63 of Randolph, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Golden Living Center – Continental Manor in Randolph.

Sheldon was born on June 25, 1952 in Stevens Point, the son of Nicolas and Esther (Nagorski) Kieliszewski. He was united in marriage to Patti Lerum on August 12, 2015. Sheldon worked at John Deere in Horicon, where he retired in 2009 after 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially the trips he took to Canada with his brother, Ray. He also owned 40 acres of hunting land in Solan Springs that he traveled to for many years. Sheldon played in pool leagues and enjoyed many special times bartending and spending time at the Green Bell and Fish’N’Fun in Fox Lake, where he met his soul mate, now wife, 17 years ago. Sheldon loved Jack Daniels, as well as working out in his shop, fixing up older John Deere mowers and snow blowers.

Sheldon is survived by his wife, Patti Lerum Kieliszewski of Randolph; brother, Ray (Jeanne) of Superior; sisters, Rose Paulson of Neilsville and Shirley (Ken) Fennwald of Cambria; special nephews, Ted (Jill) Fennwald and John Serafin; special friend, Dale Bahr; father-in-law, Phil Lerum of Fox Lake; 5 sister- and brother-in-laws; step-daughter, Kim Walker (special friend, Greg Foltz); step-son, Jeremy (Tonya) Walker; step-grandchildren, Alyssa and Autumn Verfuerth, Ian Walker, Savana Walker and Codey Urbanek; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal and maternal grandparents; brother in infancy; nephew, Stanley Serafin; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Lerum; two brother-in-laws and other relatives.

A Visitation for Sheldon will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. A time of remembrance for family and friends to share memories will take place at 1:30 p.m.
