Richard “Rich” R. Martin, age 62 of Fox Lake, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
Rich was born on March 17, 1954 in Beaver Dam, the son of Roland and Angeline (Lemanski) Martin. He worked most recently at Alsum Farms and John Deere Horicon Works. He enjoyed gardening and selling his produce at local farmers markets. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, ice fishing and racing. He was a member of the Beaver Dam Conservation Club.
Rich is survived by his sons, Jason (Jenny Knaup) of Beaver Dam, Doug (Angie) of Randolph and Raymond (Carly Shafer) of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren, Tyrus, Sequoia, Dakota, Malcolm, Heaven, Hunter, Parker and Grayson; his sisters, Sandra (Robert) Beauprey of Horicon and Cheryl (Paul) Goetz of Beaver Dam; his sister-in-law, Mary Martin Schreiber of Beaver Dam; his special friends, Theresa Voigt of Fox Lake and Thomas Emery of Fox Lake; and further survived by other relatives and friends.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jim, and other relatives.
A memorial gathering for Rich will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
